Getting to Adams Morgan

Get here by bicycle:
Ride your own bike and lock it on one of the dozens of racks around the neighborhood, or use Capital Bikeshare to get here and use one of the nine bikeshare stations in Adams Morgan.

Get here by Metro Rail:
Take the Red Line to the Woodley Park- Zoo/Adams Morgan Metro Station. Then, it’s only a 10-minute walk across the historic Duke Ellington Bridge or connect via the C51 or C53 bus. For more information, visit www.wmata.com

Get here by bus:
Buses that come through Adams Morgan are the D72 & D74 (Columbia Road, NW) and the C51 and C53 (18th Street, NW)

  • D72 goes between downtown (Lafayette Square) and Van Ness via Adams Morgan & Mt. Pleasant, etc.
  • D74 goes between Virginia Ave/GWU and Brookland/Brentwood via Dupont, Adams Morgan, Petworth, Ft. Totten, etc.
  • C51 goes between Anacostia and Tenleytown via Lincoln Park, Truxton Circle, Shaw, Adams Morgan, Cleveland Park, etc.
  • C53 goes between Congress Heights and Woodley Park via Anacostia, Capitol Hill, H St, Shaw, Adams Morgan, etc.

Get here by car:
Parking in Adams Morgan can be tricky at times, but in addition to metered parking on 18th Street, Columbia Road, and many side streets, Colonial Garage is located in the heart of 18th Street at 2421 18th St., NW.

And of course there are plenty of ride-sharing options in DC that will pick you up and drop you off exactly where you need to go without having to worry about parking.
